Ordered the Famous Burger, Fries Supreme, and Taco salad. Absolutely delicious! The burger, according to my sister, tasted JUST like McDonald (only better). The fries and taco salad were definitely good, but the burger stole the show. If you haven’t, you should definitely come visit.

Really cool place. Tried their pizza as well. Both the burger and the pizza were good. I would go back. Also the prices were good for the fact that it was a vegetarian restaurant. We paid just over 25 for a burger, pizza and shake

Wow. Found out about this place a day before dining there, as it happened to be up the street from the pottery place we were at that evening. Ordering was very easy on the screen in front of the cash, and the food was prepped quickly, with the friendly staff telling us to just let them know once we wanted them to make our fudge sundae. There was also a helpful small poster saying what everything was made with, and what to order if you had certain dietary restrictions. I got the Famous Burger (a vegan Big Mac) with extra sauce, and the thing was HUGE. Like, it looked 3-4x larger than a typical burger, and I could barely take the first few bites. It’s made with seitan, which I’d never tried before, and a soy protein, and the texture was smash burger-perfect. The classic poutine had big, wedge-like fries, which held up well and were good even when they cooled off a bit (think Costco fries, but thicker and a bit less breaded). I’d ordered a creamy orange shake, but the staff said the machine wasn’t working, so I easily switched to a chocolate shake, which was delicious and very cocoa-y. We finished things off with a delicious and sugary fudge sundae with brownie bits. The only real complaint was the atmosphere/seating inside. For some reason, I expected a diner-like setting, but it’s a small seating area, with relatively uncomfortable metal chairs and pretty harsh white lighting. I get that it’s a fast food place, but it’s quite uninviting inside (even though we were never made to feel rushed, and we had our own little spot in the corner). Overall though, this is a new favourite spot of mine, and I’ll be sure to come back, plus recommend it to friends and colleagues.

I forgot to take pictures until after I finished the burger. But man, great food! I am not vegan but I am gluten intolerant and only ordered on DoorDash because they were the cheapest gluten free option nearby. I ordered the GF famous melt, and the GF venedict. When I first opened the GF venedict, the bread looked so good that I genuinely suspected it could be normal bread...I chcked the receipt again and it was GF! Same thing with the burger, the bun doesnt look nor taste GF but it is!!! Thats how good this is, I could not differentiate whether I’m eating a vegan or a normal burger, I just knew I was eating a damn good burger. Also first time eating tofu, and I really like it. Positively surprise to make this discovery, I will be ordering from them more often.

Everybody this is amazing best burger place i ever had people who say it is bad are probably lying. the staff are so nice 10/10 I highly recommend coming here. You will have a very good experience i promise. In my opinion this is better than McDonald’s. one thing no offence but the atmosphere is kind of small. I now it is a fast food restaurant but compare it to McDonald’s in atmosphere it’s a little bigger. But other than the atmosphere it is the best fast food restaurant in town!!

UPDATE#3: We keep coming back and trying new things... this time, we had the ChickUn Souvlaki wrap combo with fries and the Famous Burger combo with Famous Style fries. The souvlaki wrap was kinda sloppy and the lettuce wasn't great. Sauce didn't really taste like tzatziki either. Not a favourite. The Famous Burger was good. I can see how it might be similar to a Big Mac, but I've been vegan almost 10 years, so I definitely don't remember what those taste like... the fries were also kinda messy. In hindsight, I probably should not have done Famous Style fries with the Famous Burger as it was doubling-up on the same flavours. Not bad, just definitely a LOT of food. UPDATE #2: we went again on Nov 2nd and got their half price Crispy ChickUn. The burger was fine but a little boring. There wasn't much mayo/ or any sauce, so I found it a bit bland. The chickUn patty itself tasted ok, but I think if I really wanted chickUn, I would get the Buffalo ChickUn again instead. That one was very good. UPDATE: we went again on October 25.... this time, we got the BacUn Famous Melt (1/2 price special) and the Sausage Maple Crunch (all-day) breakfast sandwich. We asked them to cut each in half so hubby and I could share. The breakfast sandwich was amazing, very good. Reminded me of McD's... but the BacUn Famous Melt was a little underwhelming... the description stated that it was topped with grilled onions, but I think there were 5 small pieces of onions in total (see picture).. overall, less impressed with this one. Not sure if they were running out of onions, but it was definitely lacking some oomph Oct 18: We were excited to try Odd Burger and we were not disappointed! We had the Buffalo ChickUn burger, a cheeze burger, fries, onion rings, a chocolate milkshake and a Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae. Very good!! Decent sizes and reasonably priced! Would definitely come back here!

So excited to have an Odd Burger in Ottawa! We tried the Famous Burger, Famous Melt (chickpea patty), fries, onion rings, and soft serve (not pictured) and I can say that everything was absolutely delicious!! The food has that true fast food taste that I don't think I've experienced in years. I haven't stopped dreaming about it since our visit on opening day. Will certainly be back soon!

Review for Odd Burger Odd Burger is a game-changer in the fast-food scene! Fully vegan and unapologetically delicious, it delivers a fast-food experience that far surpasses McDonald’s in quality, taste, and sustainability. Amber, one of the staff members, was incredibly helpful during my visit. She provided some fascinating background about the restaurant, which originally started in Toronto. Her friendly and knowledgeable service made the experience even better. The menu is creative and packed with flavorful options that prove vegan fast food can be indulgent without compromising on ethics or quality. Whether you’re vegan or just curious, Odd Burger is an absolute must-try. Highly recommend!
